Online Lab Notebook

Allyson DeMerlis, PhD · Coral Reef Molecular Ecologist

This notebook documents my day-to-day work learning and running analyses for coral transcriptomics, bioinformatics, and statistics, mostly in R and bash. It is by no means a tutorial, as most of the stuff probably didn’t work! But it’s a useful record of what I tried, so it’s easier to pick a project back up after a few days (or weeks) away.

How this notebook is organized

  • Notebook lists every entry, newest first. Use the tags on the right to filter by project, tool, or method (e.g. Pegasus, DESeq2, GLMM).
  • Projects groups entries by research project, with links to each project’s code on GitHub.
  • The search icon in the top right searches the full text of every entry.
